It is a popular freediving and Scubadiving site which is half burried in the sand at the bottom of the sea with Plethora of marine life constituting an artificial reef. HMS Maori is the shallowest wreck dive with a maximum depth of 16 meters in Malta. Unlike most deep dives around Maltese islands, the shallow dive site of Maori is accessible from the shore and is a favorable spot for beginners.
