Things To Do In Langkawi Legenda Park Taman Lagenda, Langkawi Overview Located beside the Kuah Jetty, Lagenda Langkawi Dalam Taman ( Legendary Langkawi in a Garden) is a mesmerizing landscaped garden themed on the folklore and myths of Langkawi. The 50-hectare compound consists of 17 colourful sculptures, including mythical birds, evil ogres, heroic giants and beautiful princesses. Officially opened in 1996 and designed by Tuan Syed Ahmad Ibrahim, Taman Lagenda, or the Lagenda Park was created by reclaiming a part of the waterfront. The entrance to the park is through a Gondwana stone wall which shows the formation of Langkawi Island through plate tectonic movement. On one side of the park is a man-made beach affording an amazing view of the water area and the statue of Eagle Square. Taman Lagenda also showcases traditional Malaysian handicrafts and cultural objects.
