Also referred to as Langkawi SkyCab, it is popular for the panoramic view of the surrounding Islands and the Andaman Sea. Officially opened on 1 November 2002, Langkawi Cable Car is the world’s steepest SkyCab and has the longest free span for a mono-cable. The cable comprises of three stations, Base Station, Middle Station and the Top Station. The total length of the cable is 4400 metre from the base station to the top station which is covered in approximately 15 minutes and a round trip takes about 28 minutes.
